Mumbai - "A friend in need is a friend in deed" or "Till death do us apart" are proverbs that do not work in politics. So-called allies Shiv Sena and BJP ahead of BMC election are trying to strike an alliance or should we say restructure their alliance.
Both parties are holding marathon discussions to decide who will play the big brother.
A meeting will be held on Monday in Mantralaya between both the parties. Representing the BJP will be Mumbai Party President Ashish Shelar, State Education Minister Vinod Tawde, BJP senior leader Prakash Mehta. Saffron army includes MP Anil Desai, MLA Anil Parab and Shiv Sena leader Ravindra Mirlekar. On one hand, party leaders are attending the meet, while on another hand in the ward numer-191 there is a fight between both the parties. Shiv Sena party's Vishakha Raut and BJP MP Kirit Somaiya's wife Megha Somaiya are getting ready to battle it out for this ward.
