Madgaon-Panvel special trains have been arranged for the return journey of passengers who went to Konkan on the occasion of Ganeshotsav. Two additional Ganeshotsav special trains will run between Panvel and Madgaon by Central and Konkan Railways.
Keeping in mind the extra rush of passengers in the trains during the return journey, it has been decided to run two special trains between Panvel and Madgaon. Train No. 01428 special train will leave Madgaon at 9.30 am on September 15 and will reach Panvel at 10.15 pm on the same day.
Train No. 01427 Special will leave Panvel on September 15 at 11.45 pm and reach Madgaon at 11 am the next day. This train is will stop at Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarde, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Advali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Thivi and Karamali.
The train will have one second air-conditioned coach, three third air-conditioned coaches, two third economy air-conditioned coaches, eight sleepers, five ordinary second class (including 1 guards brake van) and one generator car.
Central Railway informed that the reservation of this train will start from September 10 at all computerised reservation centres and on the IRCTC website with special charges.
