Indian budget airline IndiGo commenced its first flight from Bareilly to Mumbai earlier this week. The carrier will run four flights per week from Bareilly to Mumbai. Meanwhile, IndiGo will also start services from Bareilly to Bangalore three days a week starting August 14.
Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia flagged off the Bareilly-Mumbai flight in a virtual event. Scindia added that flights between Bareilly to Delhi will be increased starting August 26.

“From August 26, weekly flights from Bareilly will operate to Delhi for 7 days, Mumbai for 4 days, and Bengaluru for 3 days. These flights will connect the nation with not only Bareilly but other areas like Nainital, Ranikhet,” Scindia was quoted as saying.
The airline will use its Airbus A320 aircraft for flights to and from Mumbai-Bareilly on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. IndiGo Flight 6E 0828 will leave Mumbai Airport at 9:25 AM and reach Bareilly at 11:30 AM. The same flight will leave Bareilly Airport at 12:30 PM and land in Mumbai by 2:40 PM.

Starting 14th August, the Bengaluru-Bareilly flight will leave from Bengaluru on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 8:40 AM, returning from Bareilly at 12:30 PM.
Bareilly is the 8th airport in the state of Uttar Pradesh following Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Hindon, Agra, and Prayagraj. It’s worth noting that IndiGo is the first private airline to operate on the Bareilly route.
