BMC to catch hold of FSI violators

Mumbai - Violations of floor space index (FSI) by builders building commercial establishments and residential buildings is troubling residents. Residents who are planning to purchase commercial establishments and residential buildings are facing a tough time due to the violation of FSI. BMC commissioner Ajoy Mehta in a meeting asked Encroachment department to combat violations of FSI. Stringent action to be taken against builders who are found violating the rules.
