The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will conduct repair work of the 1,450 mm Tansa main water main in Lower Parel area on Thursday, November 28, 2024. It will commence at 10 pm and completed by 8 pm on Friday, November 29, 2024.
Therefore, during this 22-hour period, the water supply will remain completely shut at some areas around Worli (G/South), Dadar, Prabhadevi (G/North). Meanwhile, some areas will experience partial water cut. The repair work will be undertaken by the Water Engineering Department.
The valves for the pipeline are located underneath the main road at Gaware Chowk for which traffic will also be halted, officials stated.
