A person was crushed by bus number A26 in the CSMT area. In which the person died on the spot. The accident took place in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus area.
Meanwhile, the BEST initiative has formed a committee to investigate the bus accident in Kurla and provide immediate compensation. Along with this, it has also been announced to give two lakh rupees as immediate assistance to the relatives of the deceased.
After the accident, the Mumbai Traffic Police informed on Twitter that the traffic route has been diverted. "Traffic slow at Walchand Hirachand Marg Junction (Azad Maidan) due to BEST bus accident," it said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, on Monday night, there was a terrible accident of the BEST bus near the L division office of the Municipal Corporation in Kurla West. The BEST bus hit several vehicles and pedestrians. 49 people were injured in this accident. Seven of them have died.
Four patients died in Bhabha Hospital, Sion Hospital, Kohinoor Hospital, Habib Hospital in Kurla and one patient each. After this incident, the CCTV video inside the bus has gone viral. . Passengers of the bus are seen holding their hands as the accident takes place. After the bus stopped, the passengers ran away from the bus.
