ISIS which is considered to be one of the most dreaded terrorist organisations in the world has planned a meticulous attack which will be perceived as an accident, informed Multi Agency Centre (MAC) to security agencies. According to sources, the terrorists have planned to loosen the railway tracks and carry out a dreadful rail accident.
As per the security agencies, security at railway stations is very weak. This was proven when a series of bomb blasts took place on Mumbai's railway stations killing many people. This proved that there is a security lapse at railway stations.
The track which is made of iron contracts during winters. In order to join these rods, they are heated again and space is left which is of one inch. Terrorists had planned to put cement or stones in the gap to derail the train.
The security agencies have informed railway officials to beef up security at railway stations and godowns. RPF and GRP inspectors have been asked to place permanent weigh inspector gang man who will be accompanied by QRT soldiers along with the dog squad.
In 2015, Maharashtra Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) nabbed a 16-year-old girl who was in contact with ISIS. According to the police, the girl was counselled and was let go.
But it seems that ISIS got in touch with the same girl and was sent to Jammu and Kashmir as a suicide bomber. When the investigation was done it was revealed that she belongs to Pune but the officials are not sure if she is the same person.
